Thunder Calls

by debbylyn   Jan 3, 2007

Thunder swells, torrents abound
Secret fears I've battened down
Fluid tears of ecstasy
Raindrops fall to comfort me

False love lost, held no repent
Tainted soul, last lament
Tortured heart and spirit too
Storm clouds lining skies of blue

Left with gray to color all
Welcome teardrops when they fall
Shadows cast on brilliant hue
Resigned my lot, my bitter brew

Recant the past as thunder calls
Memories dark dishevel all
Lost brief love, trust ablaze
Last bequest on stormy wave
