Teenage Tragedy

by Kenzie   Jan 3, 2007

Thoughts Keep Coming,
Feelings Still Burning.
Memories Fading
As Pain begins to Settle.

A Girl so Unique;
A Boy so Confused.
Together Two Hearts Met,
But Feelings were Misleading.

The Setting soon Changes
As Hearts and Emotions Rearrange.
The Deceiver becoming the Deceived.
The Predator becoming the Prey.

Foul Play Mingling in the Heart,
Misery Twining with Destruction.
The Pain becoming Unbearable
As the Knife begins to Twist.

Lovers Lost in their Sorrow,
Separated by their Mistrust.
Searing Words Liking at Her Heart,
Grievance Setting in His.

Betrayal Hidden in Thoughts,
A Dagger Slipped from a Sleeve.
And as One Threads it Through Another's Heart
Bewilderment Crosses Her Face.

This Once Thought
wonderful Idea
Turns to Shreds
As the Surreal Animosity sets in

And Realization settles,
For what was Once Thought to be a Teenage Drama
Has Now Become
A Teenage Tragedy.
