Great about you

I check for updated pictures,
Of someone I long to forget,
I am obsessed with someone I hate,
Whom I met on the internet.

The way I long for her company,
Is ironic in a way.
After I've tried so long to be rid of her,
I sought her out today.

I read over everything that she has written,
Obsessing to find something new,
I ask myself what is so fascinating,
Oh why can I not forget you?

I've pushed her out of my life,
Because of my lack of trust,
I think of her now, and miss her,
I am overcome by disgust.

I do not understand what makes me so drawn to her,
Now I understand his reason for deceit,
She's alluring and enchanting,
And I know why he had to lie to me.

She is not perfect,
I see her faults so clearly,
She is evil and offensive,
Why is she so important to me?

I think of all the things she has said,
And despite myself, I know most of it is true,
I respect and idolize everything about her,
And maybe, darling, that's what is so great about you.

    Wow, you have no idea how much I relate to that poem, it's actually quite freaky. I'm the same, this guy means so much to me, yet he shouldn't after what he has done to me, and this is from meeting him online too. Great poem, alot of emotion and you told your story very well. =] 5/5 from me.
