A New Love

After we broke up for good,
I thought I would never find someone else

No matter how much I felt that,
We should be together I know that I needed to move on.

But now that I look back on all our memories,
I have realized that our relationship wasn't worth it.

Neither one of us were ever happy,
All we did was fight about the littlest things that didn't matter.

Yes I do know that we did have a fun time,
But most of the time all you did was lie to me then said you were kidding.

I look back at those times,
And realize that I deserve better than to be treated like that.

I have now moved on,
I have met someone that means more to me than you did.

We don't fight like you and I did,
Now we just talk and agree on so much.

I am glad we our now over,
Because I would have never found someone like him.

I now know that in having you in my life,
Has showed me what I have now in him.

So I thank you in helping me,
Find the love I have found today.
