Last night I had dream,
It was about you and me,
It seems we were back together
Living so happily.
At first it was so cold,
Cause I was all alone,
Walking on a path
With not another soul.
But then I came across,
A voice spoken so soft,
Your beauty illuminated
All the areas in my path that was dark.
At first I was confused,
Cause I did not remember you,
But once I got a little closer
I saw that I knew,
The person looking at me,
Finally I was happy,
The dream of a lonely road
Was suddenly not turning out so badly.
As I neared I smiled with enthusiasm,
Peered into your eyes,
And sat beside you not knowing what was going to happen.
You gave me a hug, And told me that you loved me so much, I hugged you back and told you that I love you just as much. Now what happened next was hard to believe, But that’s only because I was just having a dream, You leaned over and gave me a kiss I could not believe, But like I said I was only having a dream. Yet it seemed so real and how I wish it was reality,
Maybe this is a message that soon it will no longer be fictionality, And become not just a thought but what I always wanted it to be. And as we kissed the daylight crept in threw the blinds, The sun awoke me from my sleep and you were no longer mine, I wiped the sleepiness out of my eyes and my face wore a smile, Even though it was just a dream at least you were mine for awhile.
