    Good poem, greatly written.
    My favorite stanza is:
    -
    Poetry
    The right brain sings
    Its mystical tune
    A secret rune
    The soul's pure voice-

I like the form of this poem, and the choice of words in it.
    Keep up, 5/5 from me.

Wow Corrine this poem really impressed me.
I like the descriptive metaphors and imagery.
Even tho this was a shorter peice it evoked many emotions about how I fel about writing and also was very thought provoking. The rhymes scheme was original and I LOVED the topic!!

You describe it very well, a brief journey....That is what it is to me also, like a momentary escape.Your work is excellent Corinne.

I think it's direct, simple, and nice. My favorite stanza is the last one, because it captures my feelings about poetry. What's so romantically fascinating about poetry and art in general is the ambiguity of it all. That last stanza plainly describes why I value art over science, over politics; it comes the closest to satisfying the mysteries of life because it doesn't make explicit assertions or look for exact truths where there are only uncertainties. It accepts the vague quality of life from the human perspective at face value. But I suppose the vagueness itself is a consequence of our limited perspective. Anyways, great poem, I give it a 4/5 simply because I feel the rating system on this website isn't used appropriately by the users and thus it fails to accurately rate the quality and emotion of a work. That being said, the more mechanical-esque categories/systems of criteria that are imposed on art, the less unique the viewers reading list becomes. It kind of defeats what I felt you were trying to convey in the last stanza because it attempts to define the undefinable.
