My way of thanking another

I am no great ,gifted poem writer ,
it was months before I put my work on here.
Reading the work of others I did do first ,
thinking mine comes no where near.

Encouraging comments from another ,
as given me confidence in my writing.
His own work as made me think about alot ,
and my lost faith is once again growing.

Some of his as made me realise ,
its time i dealt with some of my past.
Its partly the reason my faith was lost ,
now I feel I'm moving on at long last.

He comes across as a kind and gentle person ,
on here I know its hard to really tell.
His work and his comments on mine mean alot ,
I have come to admire and respect him well.

So all thats left for me to say is ,
thank you so very much my friend.
When you read this you'll know who you are ,
my only hope is that this won't offend.

    Can understand completeley, if it weren't for the encouragement of others I wouldn't have posted myself. I think this is a positive way to express yourself and it really gets a lot out in just a few lines. Well written, and hope they know how special a friend they are. C

    This is very well written and very well done! :) i like it. I know who you are talking about and yes he is a very good friend and very encouraging. His comments seem to help me when i hit writers block and i'm sure that they help you too. If you ever have a problem you can go to him. He's a very very good friend. You did a great job on this. Not many more words i can use to describe this wonderful write.....keep it up....and never give up :)

    This was a really good poem like how its very real has a message for someone and a confession in it
