Broken

Her dreams used to be so perfect
Never did she feel any pain
Her life used to be so worth it
It seemed like she had nothing to gain

Not once did she let her scars show
Know one could have ever known
They would never see that she was so low
But they would soon see how fond she had grown

All they could see was this perfect angel
Someone who had nothing to hide
Anything they shot her way she could handle
Never would they think she lied

Soon they could see right through her
Right past her perfect, fake smile
This is when she fell even harder
When she realized her life wasn't worth while

For years she remained broken
With know one by her side
And then along came heaven
To take her for a ride

If only he had taken the time to care
Had he noticed that she'd always been there
He never looked once; it just wasn't fair
He could have saved her from all the pain she had to bare

But now she is gone forever
Her pain and suffering finally lost
Not again will she be hurt or severed
Now she flies with the angels at no cost
