Killer

by Paige Whalen   Jan 5, 2007

She walks alone
In the darkest time of night
In the black sky a bright moon shone
She stops and looks to the right

A creature of the dark
She prowls on the blood of humans
Heedless of a dogs bark
Warning them of the Danger that is looming

A hapless boy
Walks home after a party
She flits from shadow to shadow
Following her prey partly hidden

Two streets down
She attacks with stealth
And drags him to the ground
She kills him, taking his breath

The parents never heard from their son
Not another word, despair setting in
When they realize their boy is forever gone
Never to come back to his home to live

She flys away into the night
Away to her lair
To get away from the light
Her face so fair

Her name, Ararion Queen of the Vampires.
