Forgotten

Like rain falls from the sky,
Like water runs down a mountain,
Like drops from a leaky faucet,
Like water rushing out of a fountain

My eyes become flooded.
Flooded with so many tears
Because what just happened,
Was one of my fears.

Blind as a bat,
How couldnâ??t I see?
Hurting you,
In the end jus hurts me.

I hurt because I hurt you,
I only blame myself,
Now Iâ??m alone
An old forgotten toy, left on a shelf.
