Moonlight

by Nevermore   Jan 5, 2007

I can dance forever in the moonlight,
its silver fingered light dances with me.
Me and the moon we know each-other.
Only i can hear his silent song
only he can see me dance along.
Me and the moon we understand each-other.
He knows why i dance alone in the night
I know how he hold back the sea's bite.
We share the night the moon and me
he shows me the stars only he can see.
He smiles at me from the night sky,
and when the sun comes we say goodbye.
When the sun is done and back comes the night,
I dance for hours in the sweat moonlight.
