But then it blew away
Far on the breeze
And here alone
I think
And ponder yet again

My dreams

But what is real?
And what do I need?

Does a kiss fulfil its promise?
Can a hug mean the world?

Do I love you?

Yet
As I wait
And miss you
All I want
Is to be held
Held together
Piece by piece
By you

But
Your dreams aren't mine
I spell it out
In a simple poem
Writing my heart
On the paper
For the whole world
To read

But will you?
I doubt it
