Eden is Burning

by TheRapture03   Jan 5, 2007

The Garden of Eden burns
As life flies away
This love may never return
It's the price we all must pay

As Adam spoke to Eve
"In love we must believe."
"We can make our own life."
"We can make it just right."

And outside it's walls
Desolation beyond despair
And inside the gates you can live
A peaceful life with no care

The beauty that is Eve
Would never be ignored
The wrath that she would bring
Will destroy everything

Eden is burning
As fire reaches to the sky
The world is ending
Everything we know has died

The paradise we lived in
Was blown away
By a gentle summer wind
The ash that remained
Will let us begin again

    Very dramatic story.
    although for this stanza
    "As Adam spoke to Eve
    "In love we must believe."
"We can make our own life."
"We can make it just right.""

i think you should change it to this
    As Adam spoke to Eve
    "In love we must believe.
We can make our own life.
We can make it just right."

if you are stating that this is what he said, you only need one set of quotation marks.
