Beneath The Surface

by twisted reality   Jan 5, 2007

Streaming hair so soft and blonde,
Is too complete for a respond.
Jaws are dropped with a gaze,
From her eyes all ablazed.

Wings that are so cotton white,
Make perfect seem so perfectly right.
Too pure for us to simply hold,
Like shiny, flawless, heavy gold.

Gliding stride so full and long,
Such like a gracious love song.
Lyrics you may simply see,
May not be understood fully.

Underneath those ice blue eyes,
She has herself completely disguised.
Far from perfect is she yet,
As she creates her dark silhouette.

I like this poem. I love the description within it and the imagery it creates. I think the second line, instead of respond it should be responce, although I know that doesn't rhyme, it's the word that fits there. Other than that, a really great poem. 5/5
