A Reflection

I see a reflection
Of a women in pain
She lets people hurt her
Again and again

In her unstable state
She is but a child
A child in pain
It almost drove her wild

There will be time
She will hurt no one
She'll regain confidence
She's got someone to love her

A better life yet
Is what she hopes to achieve
A time to forget
For no one will grieve

The burdens she carries
The pain so like shame
The child within her
The one who holds the blame

I see this reflection
The pain doesn't disappear
But this one day will come
She will have no fears.
