It still surprises me
That you're still here
After what I put you through
You still stay near

Through so much hurt
The arguments and pain
You've stayed by my side
Through sunshine and rain

Even when I get snappy
And take it out on you
You take it on the chin
And wait 'til I'm through

When I get all worked up
You soothe away my fears
And when I get upset
You wipe away the tears

You still stayed with me
When I've hurt you the most
You put it behind us
And cuddled me close

Any other couple
Would have broken apart
But it's because it's love
That I still have your heart ©

    Very pretty. I would just change one thing:

    Even when I get snappy
    And take it out on you
    You take it on the chin
    And wait 'til I'm through

    The last line I would either say wait until I'm through or And wait til I am through. I think it would flow better..Either way another beautiful read from you. Nice job!

    Good ending. I loved that. I think this one was very pretty. you could see the girl (you lol) beating herself up over it and just so happy that the guy is still there!
