The "one"

Sitting there thinking of what she should do
she loved him so much and hope he loved her too
last year she and him had so much fun
and she was convinced he was the "one"

ever since last year she hasn't been able to keep him out of her mind
she thinks about him all of the time
she could have been with him
only if he broke up with his girlfriend
they weren't right for each other
you could just see they shouldn't have been together

but she liked him so much
she liked him a little bit more every time they touched
they knew what they were doing was wrong
they couldn't just ignore there feelings all along

people always asked them if they were going out
they would say no
but that was something both of them thought about
they both wanted each other so badly
too bad it had to end so sadly

he was still going out with that other girl
why didn't he break up with her
she sat and wondered crying to herself
he knew he was her world

but a new year came
she felt like he thought it was just game
so she told him it had to end
she said from now on you are only a friend

but her feelings still lie deep
so many secrets she has to keep
she still loves him with all her heart
she realizes if it was supposed to be they wouldn't be apart
