Nos-Tal-Gi-A

by Kimberly Marie   Jan 6, 2007

My undying love gave you entry
Yet your soul drew back.
Guilty were you of sin?
Or was it something that I lacked?
From your very first touch within
I felt as though I were free.

I pleaded for you to come
Closer as I laid my heart out for thee,
Into the darkness you left
Me all alone with myself to be.
Feeling as though all my joy was theft
By a being I knew not where from.

It seems as though you were possessed
For I have never seen you act this way.
Your actions completely foreign
In my daze, I knew not what to say
For you were my sovereign,
That seemed to have digressed.

I once knew you to be gentle and kind.
Sweet endearing expressions
Passed between your lips,
One of life\'s learnt lessons,
Never take what slips
From an unstable mind.
