2 Broken Hearts

I'm looking at you from across the room
And I see you with all your friends
They seem to be having a good time but it looks like you're just playing pretend.

I also hang with my friends
To cover up the pain I feel
It's hard to believe that what we had is over
This pain seems too strong to be real!

To tell you the truth
I haven't been the same
My eyes still shed, my hearts still bleeds
Ever since that October day when you went away.

You said you thought you might hurt me
Because lately you haven't been there
But even now that time has passed
I look into your eyes and I know you still care.

You said you that you needed time to think
And so you needed your space
You said that this might help is in some way
But all we found was an empty space.

I tried forgetting about all this pain
But there's no easy way
I wanted to find a place where hearts won't brake
But there's no place to run away.

I have a feeling that you still care
And it also kills you to know that we're apart
I know you know very well that getting back together
Is the only way to heal our 2 broken hearts.
