Storm of Her Soul

by Mousie   Jan 6, 2007

Welled up inside
Now it lets go,
Puddles of relief
The rain starts to flow.

Every drop
My hurt and my pain,
Anguish built up
My lonely soul's rain.

Thunder of anger
Sounds in my head,
Future of darkness
We all start to dread.

Lightning strikes
Unforseen doom,
Tiny little girl
In the corner of her room.

Slits and slashes
Evilest of storms,
Can barely make out
The lovely girl's form.

wow, no clue what that was, bored out of my mind and just started writing!

I really like this poem. Very original and creative, creating very lively imagery. Internal pain can be much like the eye of the storm...
The flow was undisturbed and your choice of rhymes were excellent.
A very pleasurable read...5/5 for sure
