Pretend you're a girl

by Willow   Jan 7, 2007

Pretend you're a girl,
With alot of pain.
While you read this poem,
Pretend you're this girl and let your tears rain.

Pretend your boyfriend dumped you,
the day before valentines day.
Pretend your heart was broken,
And that you vowed he would one day pay.

Now pretend you're in a car,
With three of your best friends.
One of your friends are driving,
And this is when all your happiness ends.

Pretend there is a big bang,
And you all jolt forward in your seats.
Another bang happens and you jolt again,
And you pray that in 5 minutes you'll hear your friend's heart beats.

Two hours later you wake to a loud sound,
You have a broken arm and a few scratches but you only care where you friends are.
Someone is helping you out of the vehicle,
Saying you're lucky you didn't end up squashed into the roads tar.

You start screaming out your friend's names,
And while you're spinning around, you see three body bags.
Tears start streaming down your cheeks,
For you have lost all that you live for.

When your arm has healed,
And you have visited the cemetery each week,
You notice something hasn't healed properly,
And you have started staring longingly at the knife.

You have constant nightmares,
You write poems of your own death.
