Change

by kaitlynmaggie   Jan 7, 2007

I have always wondered,
if you can change someone.
All of the habits they have,
can they really be undone?

Countless nights I have spent,
thinking of him and his ways.
I love him from my very depths,
and I wonder if he will change.

So many times I have asked him,
please, not when i am around.
He never seems to care though,
another shove right to the ground.

I think that it is disgusting,
it's nasty and a dirty habit.
So many times i have asked,
babe, why can't you just quit?

And once again, he never cares,
he replies; she was here first.
I don't care about Mary Jane,
and I think that you're a jerk.

If he cared for me he might stop,
seeing how upset I get each time.
He would think about me for once,
and stop this disgusting crime.

But, I will be with you forever,
this relationship is really no joke.
I will love you forever and for longer,
no matter what you say, or smoke.
