Convince me not

by Jenny   Jan 7, 2007

I've come to the conclusion
that all of this confusion
of a certain "illusion"
is derived from your delusions.

you preach to me
on how to proceed
with the need to feed
off of ones own greed.

Although your words are not exact
the matter of fact is still intact
with a disregard for any tact
it is all clear with the way you act.

Trying to teach me
how to be, how to see
how to follow a recipe
to be free only to a certain degree.

you are here with your own perception
of complete lies and deception
of your own comprehension
of true conception.

You think you know what's right
to be seen in a particular light,
but you put up such a fight
just out of spite of someone elses right.

your desire, the fire inside to inspire
is something that you have conspired
prior to what you knew to be true,
now is knowledge you must acquire.
