Notebooks filled with thoughts of love.
Words penned in secret ink.
An envelope of paper hearts...
They meant more than you think.

Written in a time of hate,
She rhymes to hide the pain.
An anthem of concealment,
What knowledge did you gain?

To you, I'm sure, it's just a laugh.
A way to pass the time.
Your own words are upsetting,
When their voice is so unkind.

Desperately, she lashes out.
Tries to let you feel regret.
You see no meaning to her lines.
There's so much there to get.

    Wow this was AMAZING! I love it.. very short but so full of emotion and depth. I have a file that I keep all of my favorite poems in I think that I'm going to add this one, (dont wrry I will give you credit for it, and its only so I can read them whenever I like I'm not planning on doing anything with it, but if that bothers you let me know and I wont) I kind of get the feeling that this is about bullying and stuff like that. I love it way to go. plz comment on my poem as well. thanx

    I loved this poem!!
    The flow and rhyming was great. As soon as i read the first stanza i was hooked and the rest of the poem was fantastic, i really liked it :)
