Beauty Update - Part one

Looking in the mirror, she begins to see the benefits in forgetting. Accquinting the distance in each encounter, perhaps one step closer to wholeness. Scrutinize a broken identity, for one must know who they are staring at, would be rude otherwise. She must not disappoint. The green light flashes 10:10pm, she has to move, things have to be done, one can't stay in one place too long, it provokes rusting. Move the digits, adjust and make progress. Wave at the girl before she leaves the room. The house is cold, curtains all drawn, letting no light in from outside. It's night-time. You can't eluminate the inside. Size 8 shoes, what can be said about the rest of her. Need to clean herself, wash away the sins for today and any other crumbles from yesterday. The water must be hot, warm isn't good enough, she has to burn away the skin, purple scars appear, but only in hot water. Scrub with a needle sponge. Red, a familiar colour. But she tries not to think of that. Not just now. Try to put off thinking, just for another hour. Use only soap, no coating, just to make her sweet enough, clean. Turn off the water, now the challenge. Lets get out of the shower without looking at the mirror again. The mirror is all a haze, good. Only a mistd figure. Not me.
