I've got so many unsaid things
You really need to know
I have to try and tell you
Before you tell me to go

The truth is that I love you
I never meant to make you cry
I never meant to push you
Towards saying goodbye

It is true, I treated 'us'
With not a lot of care
But I never saw the day
That you wouldn't be there

I really need to tell you this
Before I lose my nerve
I'm sorry I never gave you
The love that you deserve

But I want to set things right
And show you we're meant to be
If you'll just give me a chance
And say you still love me... ©
