Fragile Mindset

by Twisted Heart   Jan 8, 2007

The darkness
now engulfs me
Lending peril
to the thoughts
That now consume.

"It is a Fragile Mindset"

An emptiness
has filled my soul
Burying the hope
of distant dreams.
Within my memories.

"Come to me, Fragile Mindset"

A constant battle
between heart and soul
Leaving the mind
to judge the final outcome
With torrid fear, it waits.

"It's here, the Fragile Mindset"

The finale
to the swan song
That has left
the mind in awe
With just a whisper

Very unusual poem. very different style for you. I guess it was good, but it was hard for me to really understand which is partially due to the fact that the t.v.'s on lol.

Jeannie I must say, what great uniqueness this poem holds. I think there is not a topic beneath the sun that you can not write about.
I am like a child on Christmas day, with my eyes glowing as I wonder what is held beneath the title of your poems. And as I click that button I am never disappointed as to what is revealed beneath the title.
