You put me through heartbreak
Yet you said it was a mistake
You said you didn't mean it
When you said our love was fake

You told me you hated me
And I'd put you through misery
Stormed out and left me on my own
Yelled you were through with me

Now you say that you were stupid
It should never have been said
It was only the drink you'd had
Going straight to your head

But if it was, then tell me why
You waited over a week
To come over and apologise
Did you forget how to speak?

You put me through a week of hell
And my heart was torn in two
But it's because I love you so
That I'm forgiving you ©
