Honestly

by David   Jan 8, 2007

You reject me
I only want you
Why does loving you seem like a burden
When you make it look free
I would say I love you
If you believed I wouldn't lie
But after you said you couldn't trust me
My heart collasped and died
My body is flesh but my soul yearns for you
Flesh may fade but the soul is what is true
I love you but that's not why I say this
My heart belongs to you thats not why I stay
I stay because I call your heart my home
And I say this because you and I both know its true
I know you love me and don't deny it
I've seen what you feel for me and it is true
Don't be afraid to show me the real you
Honesty you ask of me, is what I give you
Then honestly I ask the same of you
