AN ETERNAL LOVE.....

They said it would not last,
It's just a passing fling.
But this young couple fell in love,
For them it was the real thing.

Their love grew ever stronger
With each passing year.
And all those whom had doubted
Soon saw in them a love so dear.

For when he looked at her he saw
A beauty that was so deep
Love shook him to his soul,
For this was the one for him to keep.

And when she gave her heart to him
She saw a man so worthy of
Her unbridled loving passion,
Matched only by his consuming love.

Now years have come and gone,
Time has withered many a heart.
But not this sweet loving couple
For nothing ever kept them apart.

Even now in the twilight of death
Their love transcends the bonds of mortality.
For in their journey of unselfish love
They vowed to love for all time and eternity.

So now they are together again
Celebrating with all our family above
Together they all watch over us
Sharing a special gift called Eternal Love.

This is for my Father whom passed away yesterday and is now with the woman he so deeply loved, my mother. They have loved for over 60 years and continue to love for eternity.
