Frightened of the dark

by Heon   Jan 8, 2007

I was lying on my bed

As day gave in to night.

I felt a chill run down my spine

As i shivered in fright.

The wind was blowing,

A full-moon showing

And the howling soon began.

I heard the rustling of dead leaves

And hoped it was some grazing deer.

But as i saw those gleaming eyes

I knew my end drew near.
