The Undying

by David   Jan 8, 2007

We are vessels, chained by fate
Held in place by the one's above
Living this life is no easy trial
Day in and day out we slave
Going to and fro without a care
I stand alone without fear
Why be moved, by others words
Speach is meaningless when you
Need not speak to hear the soul
What we share is to strong to be broken
We have a bond that is too real 4 words
You have my heart, soul, body and mind
In this way we are one, inseperable
Forever bound by intangible confines
Where do we go when we die
Would you go with me, to die
To face death boldly head on
Fearing not our own existence
I live for me, only me. I am not self centered
I just carry my own weight
We all have a time we must perish
And I want nothing more than to die proud
Proud that in all my life I lived for me
Although that is now impossible
For my heart belongs to her
And resides with her
A flame is most brilliant before it dissapates
I too am a most brilliant flame
Many envy me, and can never be like me
But I digress
The point of this address
Is to notify one and all
That we are all born under the stars
The universe was here before us
And it will be here when we die and fade away
No one can out live creation
No one can severe the chains that bind them
You can only live and die
That is our destiny, our one and only fate
The undying
