The Unseen

by jenny   Jan 8, 2007

You all judge
But you don't see
what hides behind
These walls protecting me
You don't see the scars
You don't see the drugs
You don't see the starvation
You just judge
Go on with your life
Never caring about anything but you
Walk away
Without seeing beyond these clothes
Leaving me with my secrets
My scars
My pain
Searching for my salvation
I can't take this life
The hunger builds
The drugs kill
The scars bleed
Is ee you stare
I hear your words
They trigger a change
My heart begins to blacken
My soul dissipates
A burning rage grows
Visions hazy
Adrenaline pumping
The crimson lines grow
They drip with relief
Stomach starving
Control is regained
Mind spinning
Body buzzing
As i drift into salvation
As i drift into my sweet salvation
