The true colors were never shown,
but the truth was right under her skin;
It would only have taken one soul to care
to save her hidden life, forbidden once again.
If just one person would have cared that day,
or maybe have given her the strength to stand;
The world wouldn't be mourning over her death today;
And regretting not being their to give her a hand...
If someone would have allowed her to open her heart,
They might have been able to open theirs in return...
If love, for once, would pretend to go against all odds,
Death wouldn't be waiting to take a person's life....turn after turn.
She wouldn't have been so scared to read out loud;
To read the feelings hidden behind the cover...
The cover in which hides every emotion she had ever felt;
The emotions that describe how her heart was broken by another.
She would have had enough time to tell him how she really felt;
If he would have given her the time to be true to herself.
She would have told him that she had fallen in love with him
But he was scared of the truth and buried the picture on the shelf.
She wrote a book of the way she felt;
And she placed it on his front step before letting herself go.
She wanted to reveal the truth he had wanted to hear.
But there was to little time to tell him of all the feelings she had, that he didn't know.
The first page told him to take a deep breath,
Following the second which told him not to cry.
The third page was drawn on with a number "3".
And the fourth was telling him to never say goodbye.
She had told him of the childish dreams on page five,
and ended each dream on the bottom of the sixth page.
On page seven she drew a heart with his name in the middle,
follwed by reflecting "3"s to complete a picture on page eight.
Page nine simply said that page three and eight would conclude the book,
if he would turn the page to number ten...
It completed what was seen as "381",
and a heart to the side and a poem within...that read...
"A heart was captured along with a mind that was set and stone.
And I realized that there was a reason as to why I had become the person I had become.
It was because of the way you had made me feel, and it meant only one thing...
Three words, Eight letters, and One meaning...I love you....381"
