If only you would want me instead.
If only you followed your heart and not your head.

If only you'd let me wipe away your tears.
If only you'd let me protect you from your fears.

If only you would understand.
If only you would take my hand.

If only you would notice when I cry.
If only you'd choose me to be your guy.

If only you wouldn't be so cold.
If only you'd choose me to hold.

If only you knew what could have been.
I still think it should have been.
