Picture In A Frame [Acrostic]

by Twisted Heart   Jan 9, 2007

Piles of photographs, lay around the empty room
Inside the house of humble, they have met their doom
Created by the memories that hide on every page
Trying to recapture all the dreams from younger days
Unhindered by the thoughts are the faces of the young
Reminders of the better times when love was not undone
Every hope that was shared behind the faded smiles

Into the realm of nothingness that stops to haunt awhile
No longer do they look among the passing of the page

A teardrop falls upon the faded faces everyday.

Forgotten by the love that lived in those photographs
Remembered for a moment, then moved away so fast
Anger had a hand in all the pain behind the eyes
Marked by the lost impressions is the hunger left to hide
Envisioning the future are the faded memories
... trapped within the pictures for all eternity.
