People hurt you,
For no good reason.
You feel as though you can not survive,
This life.
You just want to give up,
And say goodbye.
You want to let go of all your fears and dreams,
And what life really means.
You don’t want to tell you friends,
Because you don’t want them to feel the pain that you feel.
You try to stop the tears from running down your face,
But each tear represents the pain that you feel on the inside which is showing on the outside.
You try to fix your pain and show that you are hurting by leaving scars and tears,
But no one notices, not even your friends.
You let go of a chance of a happy life,
And hang on to life itself.
Until you let go of life altogether,
That’s when you fall and hit the ground.
That day will come soon,
As soon as I have the strength to let go.
Every day when I smile, it’s just like make- up,
It’s Fake.
They tell you to stay positive and to never give up,
But how can you stay positive when you have already given up?
Every day, Every night,
There’s always a tear in my eye.
For this pain will never end,
The pain that I feel on the inside that no one else can see.
As I sit on my bed and cry at night,
I think to myself, why do I stay here? When all it is doing is hurting me.
I try so hard to forget the things that happened in the past and try to focus on the future but the past always comes back sometimes without you knowing until it’s too late.
So I say Good bye,
But dreams will last forever.
