Your comeback

by oh the tragedy   Jan 9, 2007

Shes laughing cause shes nervous
as she grabs on to me with her face upon mine
telling me my lips taste sweeter than this, she says,
now answer me this, when i was gone
who have you been kissing?
my eyes are rolling away
shes assuming to start the pain
now were breaking down once more
and i know just what to say
baby your doing it all over again
let me take you back to the beginning
so you can remember that time
we were driving in your car to
that crowded place and the booze all over
sat on the couch and
your flirty eyes would wander
and id have to look after you
cause you were the first one to make the move
your breath was damped with alcohol
and your hands wouldn't stay still
i said lets go home
but you decided to chase after whats not yours
be patient,I'm getting to the point
as soon as you got to what you wanted
you walked over to me with his hands in yours
and you were unable to look as you threw the keys
i went home without you next to me
so think about it
would you rather argue about this
or let this go?
this is your comeback from me
and i know its a stain in your memory
lets not complain about who and where i was with
cause we both know i dont' play the cheating game
and forgive me for being to weak to get you back
but it gets back at you in a few days
and by now i know you know that
so when youre off somewhere you trust me
now everday when you leave
it should be you on your knees begging for me to trust you back
