Reaching heaven

Reaching Heaven

Climbing the stairs
Dividing good from bad, to the golden door
Grasping the handle and pushing it open
Light surrounding everything, flashes of gold and silver.
Standing alone in a courtyard of glory, kneeling hands raised up
An arm around my shoulder lifting me
A smile so happy greats me.
Together we walk, people singing praises
Through arches of peace, love and kindness
We reach a castle, so grand with angels at each turret and music at each door.
Turning to me with a smile he says, you live in this home and are a part of this kingdom.
