This is beautifully written. It really is "a new perspective" or maybe just a poetic twist on one that isn't easily recognized. Either way, I thought it was fantastic.

^Wisely written, my friend. A profound piece, with a message so very significant. And you're right, imagination really has no purpose; but it's really the only thing that keeps us sane in this world! ^ For me, these 4 lines were the best in the entire poem - but I think this is because I can probably relate to them the most.

I'll be honest, I do like this poem better than your other one though. :) But they're both still amazing poems. The flow was perfect, and your word choice was incredible.
