In My Dreams

I dream about you and each moment we shared
I think about the the promises of always being there
I reminisce on precious moments when nothing else mattered
I silently cry to myself knowing my heart was shattered

I try to predict what may happen later on
I pick myself up and try to be strong
I sometimes wonder what things would be like
If this relationship was working instead of being on strike

I want to think that someday we'll work it out
But thinking ahead just makes my heart melt
I don't want to put to much to-wards my thoughts
Since thats one of the reasons why we always fought

It makes me feel better since in my dreams your right there
Its in my dreams where you still care
So I dream now cause thats the only thing I can do
Cause in my dreams I'm still with you
