Little Children

by Cathy   Jan 10, 2007

Children here at play you watch them by afar
the dimples in their cheeks shows how happy they really are
They run around the houses playing the games that kids play
surrounded by a feeling of safeness on this bright sunny day

The look in their eyes shows the innocence inside
although at a young age, they have a sense of pride
Growing up in a world where things may not be what it seems
the children of our land still hold onto their dreams

Looking and gazing you see the personality that they hold
looking at the future ahead is what your eyes really show
They may be a little small but our future is what they are
Little innocent figures with a truly big heart

They hold the keys that may be, the knowledge that we need
to help this land of ours in the future to succeed
Little, little, children I watch you from afar
But know deep down in my heart who you truly are

Your the leaders of tomorrow, but the children of today
little, little, children your special in every way
Don't let no one tell you, you never do anything right
for you are our leaders, you are our shining light

Oooh i like this. The message within it is very important. Never thought about it, but children could grow up to do something really great in the world.
