Stand Alone

by The Sky is Falling   Jan 10, 2007

A figure stands
She stands alone
She gave up on life
She needed to go
She wishes she didn't
But at a loss
No one knows
Even though her life is gone
She has gained something new
Snow-white wings
But a dark cold stare
She watches over
With golden-blue eyes
She can't say or do anything more
But stand
Stand Alone
Given up on hope
People wonder what they can do
To save this dark angel
They whisper
And watch
But do nothing more
And still
This figure
Stand Alone

You've expressed your pain and isolation very well.
