I loved you more than life
But then we grew apart
You made me so mad
And you played with my heart

You told me you'd love me forever
Well, forever was a lie
I thought we'd stay together
But you chose to say goodbye

I never thought we'd split up
But you made my nightmares come true
I thought I'd always have someone to hold
In short, I thought I'd always have you

But somehow, you left our love behind
You seemed to move on way too fast
I loved you since the very beginning
But now I have to put it in the past

I loved you from day one
I can't believe you broke my heart
I guess it's the way life goes
I guess we just grew apart

    C'mon honey, maybe writing about it will make you feel a lot better? I know it did when i broke up with Chris years ago. And when me and Marcus argue, i write about it and then feel calmer afterwards.

    Sorry i've not been online as much, i'm in and out of hospital at the mo for my stomach pains and my nan is criticly ill which just adds to it..
    But i care about you too.

    Amazing poem. It made me want to cry..brings back memories. I know what you're going through and it sucks. It'll take time for things to get better again but you'll make it. Once again I thought it was a great poem...very touching.

    I'm so sorry to hear that, dear. You seemed very happy with him, but you know what, you're young and you'll find someone better (I sound like an old lady lol.) He doesn't deserve you if he's willing to hurt you that way and when you find a better guy then Jake will realize what he lost. Beautiful poem, I'm here if you need to talk.
