I want to understand you
Believe me I try
But so many things you do
Leave me asking the question why

I wish I could understand
The things that you do and say
Things you know will hurt me
Yet you say them anyway

Or things you don't tell me
Things you lie about
You try to keep things secret
But you know I will find out

When I think I understand you
I realise I don't know you that well
