Poems and kisses, the language of love
Littered with passion and rhyme.
Poetry meant to stoke affections,
If only mine could stop time.
Then this moment would last forever,
Tommorow, just a dream.
End of love would be never
And with it, death\'s throaty scream.
We would never know separation
And never feel sorrow.
Paradise is our creation
The rest exists only tomorrow.
So now, in this moment
When we have naught but each other.
Let me coax you young woman
of love let me show you another.
For love is not \"I do\"
Nor is it \"Till death do us part\".
Love is loving you
With no proof but my heart.
Let me show you with actions,
Let them speak for my words.
Let your body\'s reaction
Be true as the flight of birds.
For no flower is prettier cast in metal
Than the flower in bloom.
Let my heat spread your sweet petals
And may our rest in thy kiss\' cocoon.
For that which is cast in darkness
Shalt reflect the most light.
Our love under the blankets and in blindness
Shall pour love, shining bright.
All this I would do
If you would only allow.
For every breath I have left,
I would not waste any on a vow
Casting two lives together with chains
Making them love
Despite and throughout the pains.
For what is marriage but a contract,
Binding man and woman in wedlock.
What folly it is to cage a tame creature
For it is the caged beast that is the wildest.
And it is the imprisoned that would cry
For freedom to do what they would never try.
So in this moment,
Let your conscience rest easy.
For if I could be anything,
I would be a tear.
To be born in your eyes,
Trickle down lightly on your cheeks
And die at the mercy of your lips.
Love is more than a warm feeling.
For if it is than hot tea will suffice.
Love is not seen, touched or felt.
Love is only made.
