No angels are present here

by Espoirfailed   Jan 11, 2007

No angels are present here,
Only the presence of fear.
When the day's begun,
The moon becomes our Sun.

And we live without reason
In a World full of treason.
The evil are our good,
The tyrants understood.

The darkness illuminates
The oxygen that suffocates
Our small population
Who prosper from frustration.

Only the shadows shine
And only the fallen survive,
Is it that surprising that
In this darkness, I thrive.

Thanks for the comment But sadly my poem is mostly true. I write poetry that is most of the time true.
