When friends let friends drink and drive

by kaili   Jan 12, 2007

Near the door
he paused to stand
as he took his ring
off her hand
all who were watching did not speak
as a silent tear
ran down his cheek
and in his mind ran the moments they
walked and ran in the sand
but now her eyes
were very cold
and he will no longer have
her hand to hold
they watched in silence
as he bent near and
whispered "I love you."
into her ear
he touched her face
and Began to cry
as he put his ring on and
wanted to die
as they lowered her chest
into the snow
this is what happens
to a man alive
when friends let friends, drink and drive..
