Good old rocko

by Independence Forever   Jan 12, 2007

In one corner there stands dracula the bloodsucking vamp
but in this corner stands rocko our very own heavyweight champ

rocko sits there thinking of glory days long passed
it's been several years since he had fought last

the vamp challenged him, he could not say no
will he lose....? probably it would be so

he looks at his family, he gives a wink
secretly in his heart he begins to shrink

he stands and gares at his man
he thinks in his head "i think i can"

as the bell rings he has no doubts
he's done it all before in many other bouts

he motions to the vamp in his dark red shroud
"who's too old?" he accidentally thinks out loud

Rocko sees a boxer with a family in his mind
he shrugs it off and says that death will be more kind

"one last time!" he yells out to all gathered here
"it'll be over quick" a voice whispers calmly in his ear

the bell rings and he's hit hard with a whack!
he lands on the floor and whispers "i ain't comin back"

they all went to his funeral even his killer the vamp
they all gathered round him and silently said "you'll always be our champ"
