Puppy Love

Instantly a smile crosses his face
For reasons he isn't even sure of at the time
This feeling overcomes him like a wave on a beach
undescribable at first
He begins to tear in his left eye and lets the tear run down his face
This feeling is one he has had before
And only gets better every time he has it
The feeling of pure joy and ecstasy over runs him
Like an excited child who can't be brought down to a level of calmness
This is a man who is in it deep
This is a man in Love
As the time draws near he knows it is coming
And it is more exciting than anything he has known
He was lost before living in a world only for himself
And know is living for someone else
The car pulls in and he sees her
Trying to not to be excited as a puppy and jump on her
Maintaining his cool, he grabs her by the waist and asks her how she is
Then places a nice little "I Love You & I missed you" kiss on her
He told her once that he didn't want her to be a regret in his life
For not letting her know his true feelings my have ended up killing him
This tear that ran across his face was one that assured his fear
The fear he didn't need anymore
This wouldn't be regret he wouldn't ever have and doesn't need
There are different fears now
But he decided when he had his second opportunity to be with her
He would caress her, care for her, and most importantly love her
That's when he wouldn't worry about the future and what it held
For he decided to have loved like this is better than to never have loved before
And just settle for whatever
Every moment with her is much happier than he ever has been
This time he decided with every chance he got he would tell her
And show her he truly loves her and will live his the rest of his entire life to show her
That he thinks he is the luckiest man in the world
And to make her happy, Forever
